Brightness Buttons dont work HP Envy n010dx

Hello, all others hotkeys work(volume, light the keyboard, etc) but the brightness change button dont work at all ! i tryied to install graphic card from drivers and nothing changed

Hi @IsraelM,

 

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

I read that your HP ENVY m6-n010dx Notebook is not letting you adjust the Brightness. I am seeing that if you change the power plan options to balanced option in the Notebook it will help. Here is a link that will help.

 

Go into your power options. Select Balanced and click Change plan settings. Click Change advanced power settings. Then save setting changes.

 

You could  try using the Windows Update Troubleshooting tool to fix any updates that have not come through for Windows.  Please restart the Notebook twice to make sure all update have been completed!

 

You might want to check the downloads page under the Driver-Chipset, for updates.
