Broken hinge

Hi, I have an HP ENVY x360 convertible laptop that I have had since November 2020, so it is out of warranty.  The hinge is broken and it will not close evenly.  Otherwise, there is no issue with the computer.  I have called a local repair shop and they want $350 to repair the hinge, which is crazy.  I have seen this is a super common issue and was hoping that HP had a more reasonably cost solution as it seems like it is a manufacturer defect of some type.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  I just hate to buy a new laptop when the hinge is the only issue.  Thank you!

This could be a hardware issue with the unit and may need repair.
