Screen, all icons and text distorted. Can't adjust screen resolution under Settings in Windows, and option to do so doesn't appear under Appearance & Personalization in Control Panel.

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,
Riddle_Decipher is at your service.
As I understand you are unable to change the screen resolution,
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
Did you update the video card on your device?
(Click here to find and install if you haven't done it yet)
While you respond to that, here's a few things you could do:
Click here to see this video in full screen on YouTube.
Changing the size of text, display brightness, and screen resolution
You can modify the size of text and windows on the desktop to fit your personal preferences. You can also adjust the screen resolution, if necessary. During a normal Windows installation, the program tests the graphics card and displays the optimal size and resolution for that card.
To change the display settings, follow these steps:
-
In Windows 10, search for and open Change display settings. You can also right-click the desktop and open Display settings.
-
To change the orientation between Landscape and Portrait or to flip the orientation, select an option from the drop-down menu, then click Keep Changes or Revert.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE STEPS AND INSTRUCTIONS.
(By the end of this article all the issues should be resolved)
Keep me posted,
If the information I've provided was helpful,
give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,
that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Good Luck.
