Can't find switchable graphics mode in bios

Hello everyone

I'm trying to find the option to switch graphics mode in the BIOS menu. Basically, I want to disable it (the second graphic) from the BIOS.

My laptop has an external (Second Graphic card) Geforce 840m.

I'm trying to add an external GPU through mini Pcie, and did not work so far

I want to try and desiable the 840m and try to connect the external one

Any advice?

You shouldn't have to change anything, unless it's specified by the builder.?
I have no experience with external gpu, but sometimes i know nothing to do with the model is not suitable ..
what is your GPU exactly?
