Can't make touch screen work

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi. I have an HP ENVY TS 15 Notebook PC

I recently bought an SSD, installed it on this laptop and installed Windows 10 Home 64 Bits. I had no issues with drivers, for the most part. However, the touch screen is not working anymore. I came across this post and tried pretty much everything.

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktops-Archive-Read-Only/HP-Envy-TouchSmart-Screen-not-Working/m-p/3...

When I go to System info, under Pen and Touch I see: Touch support with 10 touch points

When I run "Component Tests UEFI" it doesn't recognize my finger touch. When I try to set it up, it never shows me a pop up to choose between pen or finger.

This is the only issue I have. The laptop is working great, it's super fast now. But not being able to touch the screen has me frustrated.

Any thoughts? Am I missing something?

I had tried that before posting here

It didn't work. Because I replaced the display hinges, I think I broke the cable that controls the touch functionality
