My HP Envy laptop has a touchscreen which I can use to draw in Word with my fingertip, and select items on an internet window etc. However, I can't play the NY Times game, Vertex, in which you draw lines between dots.

I can play it on my phone, and on tablets, and I can play it on my laptop if I use a mouse or the touchpad but it's much more relaxing (which is why I play it) if you can just touch the screen to connect the dots.

A couple of years ago someone described the same problem on this forum. The only response she got involved tablets and changing settings. I tried changing settings but to no avail.

A solution would be much appreciated.

I agree. I can't even play it with my pen mouse or touchpad. Just can't play, period.
