Can the Envy 17-ae151nr drive 2 external 4K displays over usb-c?

HP Envy 17-ae151nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Can anyone tell me if the Envy 17-ae151nr will drive 2 external 4K displays over USB-C?  I already have the displays (HP) and the dock (Toshiba) and 2 lenovos that I have will drive the external monitors just fine...  I'm wondering if anyone has tried something similar with the Envy 17?

USB-C allows for daisy chaining displays, so it should. USB-C to DVI-D does provide such funtionality, HDMI may or may not work (problematic). Have not tested it but similar configs do work.

I can confirm that it does *not* support Thunderbolt docks at all...  I have 2,  1 lenovo (which it doesn't even recognize when plugged in) and 1 Toshiba (which it recognizes but does nothing with (no display, usb, power, network)).

The HP 27s montiors that I have don't support daisy chaining so can't try that without trying yet another hardware solution.  Given the luck I've had so far, not sure I want to try another device...

There is an adapter called "CableCreation USB-C type C to HDMI Thunderbolt 3 compatib. male to Female DP-Alt mode".

Supposedly makes all the difference... for some. You may try it, key feature is "DP-Alt mode".

Available on Amazon... or possibly elsewhere. Check it out. If it works, all you need is a USB-C splitter for 2 monitors.

I suggest you seriously investigate adapters...
