Cannot Adjust Brightness on my HP Envy

I have an HP ENVY 15m-bp100 x360 Convertible PC. Everything has been working fine until last week the screen brightness went to about 50%. I don't know if it is something I did or not, but I don't know how to increase the brightness of the display.  The F keys don't work and I cannot find a brightness adjustment anywhere, not in the display settings, and not in the action center at the bottom right of the screen. 

Does anyone know where  or how to change the brightness setting?

The only thing that I have done recently is add a VPN account, IPVanish. I can't think of anything else out of the ordinary.

> Right click on the desktop and select "Display Settings"
> You will see slider for brightness correction

or 
> Click on Notification icon at extreme right on Task Bar 
> Click on Expand
>  Look for Sun like icon, Click on it to toggle brightness. 
or
> Look for Sun like icon on Function keys of your machine.

if above does not work Update the Intel Graphic Driver.
