HP Laptop PC 14-d2000 (2D126AV)

I cannot seem to get the HP C Dock to work with my new laptop. Is there a compatibility issue and can anyone recommend a docking station that will work and supports x2 monitors.

Thanks

What is your PC 14-d2000 (2D126AV)  machine ?  It should be very close to the following (over 100)  machines

                  https://support.hp.com/lt-en/product/product-specs/hp-laptop-pc-14-d2000/model/38322792

For example :    HP Laptop 14s-dq2001nx

They only has 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to

  • Charge your machine,
  • Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter (some hubs may have builtin chip to support this)

If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only), you can use

  • Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
  • Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as

                                     USB to HDMI Adapter

I know many USB-A docks which support 2 external monitors and also allow you us to connect other devices. For example
