Product: Pavilion G6 2002-tu
Operating System: FreeDOS

I have been trying to recover my HP Pavilion G6 2002-tu with a cracked display (running FreeDOS) so I can reinstall a fresh copy of windows 7 to upgrade later. So i have been trying to switch the output in BIOS to my Viewsonic VA2047H. When I press FN + F4, I get beeps. I need help on this because when I turn on the laptop, no output on the external monitor.

That's probably not going to happen -- because the external monitor will not work until the Windows drivers are loaded for the jack it is connected to, and that does not happen in the BIOS.
