Product: HP - 14" Touch-Screen Chromebook - Intel Celeron - 4GB Memory - 32GB eMMC Flash Memory - Grey Model:
Operating System: Chrome OS

Trying to find out if I can hook this Chromebook to a monitor using a USB- HDMI cable and if so , which one.  The USB ports are 3.1

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

 

USB 3.1 are only meant for data transfer. You'll have to use HDMI-HDMI cable only.
