Elitebook 840 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I would like to connect my Elitebook 840 G5 to my iMac (27 inch Late 2012) in order to utilise the larger display (effectively to act as a mirror of the Elitebook display.  The iMac has 2 Thunderbolt ports.  I would prefer to connect directly from the laptop to the iMac, but I can make use of a DY932AA docking station if necessary.  Can you recommend a cable or adaptor to fit this need.

Thanks

Archie

From what I read on that subject, the other computer must also be a Mac of some sort.  The iMac 27" must be in Target Display mode.  Here are some tips.

I am not a Mac person, so I rely on others for this.

I'm not an HP employee.
