Connecting my HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-e2000 to a HP E24m G4 FHD USB C Conference Monitor

Hi There Guru's

• I have a HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-e2000 which I use at home and my Work Notebook which is a HP Elitebook 640.
• Having now acquired an HP E24m G4 FHD USB C Conference Monitor, I cannot get my HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-e2000 to connect to this monitor/hub. My Elitebook and Partners Elitebook connect perfect to it.
• Is there something I need to do on my HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-e2000 in order to get it to work?
• I'm currently running Windows 11 23H2 on my HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-e2000.
• Connecting through the USB-C Port on the HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-e2000 

Rather desperate as I love this P E24m G4 FHD USB C Conference Monitor makes my whole life so much easier.

Hoping to hear from the HP Guru's because I just love HP.

What is your HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-e2000 (2J4W0AV)  machine ? It could be one of the following over 190 machines

For example :   HP Laptop 15s-eq2003na

Your machine should has SAME ports as the above machine which show it has a hopeless  SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to

• Charge your machine,
• Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter (some hubs may have builtin chip to support this)

In short: connecting it to HP E24m G4 FHD USB C Conference Monitor won't work with dock nor without dock,
