Hello,

my son accidentally dropped my laptop and it damaged the display panel. The laptop works but the screen does not display anything except colours. I have contacted few repairs shops and they quoted me more than 50% of the cost of a new laptop replacement and they would not guarantee if their repairs would guarantee the solving of the problem? Can anyone suggest how to get the HP display for the laptop (not screen only) or recommend a good repair centre. I live in Berkshire. I am not sure if HP would carry the repairs themselves and charge me for it. Thank you for your help.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
I understand your HP notebook display is damaged, to fix this issue your computer display assembly needs to be repaired.
