HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15m-bp1xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Product name : HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15m-bp1xx

Product number : 1KS76UA#ABA

This laptop is about 4 years old now.  I have attached a pic (JPEG) of the USB-C port with what looks like a lightening bolt, but not exactly like the ones I've seen online with the arrow at the end.  Mine does not seem to have the arrow at the end of the lightening bolt.  Does this port support Thunderbolt 3?  I would like to connect a portable laptop monitor that uses only USB-C to USB-C connection, requiring USB-C DP Alt Mode on the laptop.  Thanks!

Your machine is an HP ENVY x360 - 15m-bp112dx, its specs

           https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05803125

It has 1  USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer up to 5 Gb/s, DP1.2, HP Sleep and Charge) port which is not a Thunderbolt™ 3 port.

Regards.
