Driver issue for E001ax

HP Recommended
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I have a E001ax as my laptop.It has A-10 5750m APU processor and Radeon 8650g+8670m as graphics card.

Now for the last year i have been trying to find suitable drivers for my graphics card as on  AMD forum it says that my graphics card set has been moved to legacy so the last available working driver is Catalyst 15.7.1


Now the issue is even if I use the 15.7.1 windows cannot detect my graphics card


On windows 7 Professional SP1 it showed 8650g+8600m instead of 8650g+8670m

On windows 8.1 Professional it showed 8650g+8600m instead of 8650g+8670m

On windows 10 Professional it showed 8650g+8600m instead of 8650g+8670m,but after windows update it showed 8650g+8670m.


And in OS i prefer to have windows 7 so can anyone please direct me to drivers which will work perfectly on windows 7 professional SP1 . 

Also I have tried device manager update,windows update etc etc .Nothing works.Only in windows 10 update i am able to download driver updates for graphics card , but windows 7 and 8.1 dont even detect my graphics card.

As I Understand you have had issues with installing video card drivers for your HP Pavilion 15-e001ax Notebook PC

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details: 

Is this (Click here) your product specification? 

If yes, HP does not recommend downgrading or changing the OS from OEM to a retail copy of windows,

As using windows 7 pro is considered a downgrade, I wouldn't be able to help you much.
