HP Pavilion - 14-ce3065st laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I just purchased an HP Pavilion - 14-ce3065st laptop, and given that it only has one HDMI port, what will I need to setup two external monitors, in addition to the laptop monitor.   Will an  HDMI splitter work, will an adaptor off any of the USB 3.0 ports work?  I'd like not to spend $100 on a docking station.

Thanks in advance.

Hi@SantaKip, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Nearly all HP Pavilion notebooks don't have a docking port therefore you can't get a docking station for your machine or for HP Pavilions. The specs of your machine are

    https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06474274

which shows it has

1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate);

2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A (Data Transfer Only);

1 AC smart pin;

1 HDMI 1.4b;

1 headphone/microphone combo;

1 RJ-45

As you can see, its USB-C port does NOT support video out. At this stage, a docking station using USB-A ports still is a good choice. If you wish to have 2 or more external monitors, please enter your requirement on the following link and it will find for you a few options on the market today including some HP products:

or try following HP docks

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
