HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 13-ay0009na
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi have an Envy x360 with a Ryzen 4700u. I also have a dual HDMI port USB-C dock (Caldigit). When I connect the laptop to the dock via USB-C one monitor works whilst the other lights up but then says no signal detected. Windows 11 seems to identify both external monitors.

There doesn't seem to be the same issue with a 11th Gen Intel laptop by Dell.

Windows 11 is clearly detecting the monitors including their model, refresh rate and resolution, but I'm not sure why the output isn't working correctly.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The specs of your machine is

You can daisy chain to connect 2 monitors to USB-C ports. In your case, the cupid is the Caldigit adapter, is it the following one

Which ever one, please talk with the Caldigit people for help.

Hi,

I have now tried a Caldigit dock, a HP dock and a Dell dock. None of these seem to work. The Caldigit dock only seems to provide an output for one monitor although the second monitor turns on and displays no signal. The HP dock doesn’t seem to be recognized at all. The dell dock works but only for a few seconds before disconnecting and reconnecting (repeatedly) - both monitors do however show an output.

I’m struggling to find a solution,
