HP EliteBook 845 G8 Notebook PC (1W3K6AV)

I've just taken delivery of a refurbished model of the above, but I have a second laptop which is exactly the same model and spec. I am looking at the colours side by side and there is no comparison with the intensity and sharpness. I have checked out all the drivers, etc. Could this issue be caused by a faulty screen? Any suggestions as to a fix? My "new" model is still in warranty from HP and the refurb company. Would prefer not to have to return it, as I have spent ages setting the damned thing up! Thanks.

business models can be ordered with different hardware, so you should first verify with the vendor what type of display the laptop has.

See page 1 of the service manual and the different displays sold.
