Elite x2 1012 G1 Tablet
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have recently updated the Elite x2 1012 G1 to the latest 2004 version of Windows 10.

Everything is functioning fine other than the Screen side Webcam is not recognised in the device manager.  I have managed to install the 'World Facing' camera after installing all the latest driver updates.

Looking at various sites and forums it appears there is a number of devices suffering with this issue following the windows feature update 2004 and earlier versions.

I have installed the latest Intel versions of all available drivers as well as HP.  The drivers installed are all fully up to date for all hardware the Device Manager is detecting.  I have tried to install legacy devices manually however this has not worked either. I have even tried to install the Skycam driver package from Lenovo as this is the same Intel driver pack.  Nothing works!

This is the second G1 1012 to get the update and the camera has ceased to function.  Given that remote working is key and the main use of the device along with the other Elite x2 tablets we have we really do need the Webcam to work.

I have run through all the processes suggested in device manager, uninstalled and reinstalled everything as well as clean installed Windows 10.  I really dont want to have to cease using these device due to a windows update so if anyone is aware of a solution that would be great.
