Product: Elitebook 840 G7

Hi Guys, 

 

got yesterday an refurbed Elitebook 840 G7 to replace my old T450. Installed a fresh KDE Neon (which is mostly a Ubuntu 24.04) and the Trackpoint is allways floating to to bottom left edge.

Every Suggestion via in all the know tech forums are related to thinkpads.

 

Xorg.log identifys the device successfull as Pontingstick:

SYNA30B3:00 06CB:CE08: is tagged by udev as: Mouse Pointingstick

 

Any suggestions?
