Elitebook 840
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have an Elitebook 840 and recently purchased the Ultraslim Docking Station 2013 to use with my dual Acer monitors.  The Acer monitors only have VGA and DVI.  The docking station has 1 VGA and 2 Displayports.  I purchased a Displayport to DVI passive adapter to connect the second monitor, but I just have a blank screen.  The monitor is recognized by my laptop and the monitor knows a cable is plugged in, but no video is displayed.  It's just a black screen.

I have installed the latest docking station firmware, 2.30, but this didn't seem to fix my issue.  I also updated all drivers for my graphics care and monitors, no joy either.

Do I need an active adapter?  Does anyone else have any other suggestions I can try?  Thanks in advance.

Jared
