Elitebook 840 G6 and G7. Dock USB-C G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an Elitebook 840 G6 and G7 with a Dock USB-C G5.

Two  Dell P2418D displays connected via Display port to the Dock

One display comes up 2560 x 1440 and the other2048 x 1020 i appreciate that this a limitation of the dock, I can live with this.

The problem is the G6 and G7 default to using different screens in 2560 x 1440 mode. Swapping cables round doesn't make any difference, The only solution is to physically move the screens (i need the high res in the middle).

I have fiddled with BIOS to allow two Hi Res screens but then the ethernet performance is not good enough.
