Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I cannot seem to get my laptop to detect a second screen - I am using an official HP USB-C to Multi-port Hub to connect to my second monitor via HDMI and the second screen is not detected

I have tried using the screen with another windows 10 device and it works, but for some reason not here - any help?

@SachaG

Does your monitor have DisplayPort (DP) ? If yes, please use USB-C to DP cable directly.

Regards.

Unfortunately my monitor doesn't have a display port, and the HP USB-C connector only supports USB / USB-C and HDMI connections - does your answer imply that there is something wrong with HDMI support for the device?
