Hello.
We have obviously any USB-C ports compatibility issue on my device.
I'm trying to connect external box
AXAGON EEM2-GTR, M.2 NVMe THIN RIB box, SuperSpeed USB-C 10 Gbps, black
via Usb-C with my NVME disks and no success.
One box contain: KINGSTON SKC3000D2048G : 2048,4 GB
Second box contain: Samsung SSD 980 PRO 2TB : 2000,3 GB
Neither storage is possible to connect via USB-C directly to laptop. Device is vidible in device list but is never loaded. I tried many times with lot of USB-C cables a no luck. Disk manager sometimes show the partitions, but no more activity are available. No letter assigned. No opeartional possible with the devices.
Surpriselly when I connect these boxes via USB-A ports on the laptops, then storages are connected and fully working but they are slower of course.
Obviously is here some issue with the USB-C ports.
I tried to turn off Thunderbolt mode, but afterwards the laptop is going to Blue Dead (kernel security acpi) issue so Windows are not able to boot. So i was force to switch the thunderbolt on again back and I can't to test if disabling of this feature can help.
Please, help me to solve this, because I wish to use USB-C speed for these storages. For example, my Android device is able to connect both the boxes with no issues.
Thank you,
Tomas
