OMEN 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-c0000 (343L4AV)

External display is flickering or going black when connected to my OMEN 16.1. Laptop display works fine. Tried HDMI and DP cables with no success. Monitor is a BENQ GW2765, but tried also with my LG oled tv. Same results

Hi @DelCarlo,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

Is this the first time you are connecting your monitors to your Omen laptop?

Or did it work normally before?

Sometimes due to a loose cable connection, this issue will occur.

Meanwhile update the BIOs:  Click here. Once you open the website, select the current operating system and update.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!

Yes

Yes, it works fine with a Dell laptop and HDMI cable

- Sometimes due to a loose cable connection, this issue will occur

I´m aware of that, and changed my HDMI cable for a DP cable with no success

- Meanwhile update the BIOs: Click here. Once you open the website, select the current operating system and update.

The bios is updated as well as the entire system
