When connecting my external monitor to my laptop, my monitor says no signal. This is strange as moments before I got this message on my monitor, my monitor was working fine on my laptop. I have tried many things to resolve this issue, including things like checking the cable, connecting my monitor to another laptop (it works fine), connecting my laptop to another monitor (it still won't turn on), and even installing previous bios updates and running system hardware scans like hp virtual assistant suggested, and all do not work. This is very frustrating. I am using a hdmi cable to connect my laptop to my monitor, I cannot use display port. Is there anything else I can do? Or do I have to send my laptop to HP or something for repairs? If so how do I do that?
