I have to say, I changed my cable this morning & have not experienced the blinking issue since then, either. So, that's 6hrs & it would have occurred by now.
So, I'm now using two DP cables instead of one DP & one HDMI. It'll be interesting to see what my personal laptop does because that did not have the issue, even with DP & HDMI. We shall see!................

Thank you for the information. From my HP monitor, I'm using HDMI (cable on both sides) and converting to DP into the G5. Are you recommending - a C2G DisplayPort M to HDMI M Adapter Cable? It could be the dongle converting from HDMI to DP that is causing the problem.
Thanks for helping us to triage!

Unfortunately, the back of the monitor only has HDMI out and no DP option. DP to DP - which means new monitors - urggg. Thanks again, I needed to clarify my setup to confirm the solution before buying C2G Display Cable

On Friday, after changing the cables to DP:DP, DP:DP, and HDMI:HDMI using the dock, the HDMI monitor blinked once over the course of the day (for 1-2 seconds).
I replaced the HDMI cable with a new shorter one, and no blinks after that.
Have to see how it goes on Monday. Definitely was a lot less after doing the DP:DP cables instead of DP:HDMI. Before that, it was every half hour.
We have a bunch of new docks that did not get a firmware update. If I get any blinks on Monday, I will swap out with a new one. I didn't have this problem until I updated the firmware, and then started changing things around/experimenting with 5 displays. Also wondering if the order the monitors are plugged in matters. How they get enumerated in Windows. I know it shouldn't matter, just trying to find a workaround or solution.
Will post back.

HI all,
I've been doing testing and was so hopeful that the switching the cables would do the trick. It didn't.
Direct HDMI to HDMI - failed the monitor blinked (3 minutes in)
Direct HDMI to DP Port (no dongle) - new cable - waiting for results.
The G5 Dock only has ONE HDMI not two.
Is anyone else running into the same situation where the monitor only supports HDMI out?
Dare I say, i need new monitors just to make this work with the G5?
Keep the ideas flow and thank you community!
