Pavilion DV8
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Good morning

I have a Pavilion DV8 which has developed screen flicker.  If I remove the top sound cover and move the left hand screen cable I can stabilize the screen but as soon as I place it back into its correct position for closing the top it reverts to flicker. I can get a new cable and remove the existing one from the connections on the motherboard - but cannot see how I get to the other end - attached to the display itself.  It appears that I have to remove the screen from the top cover.  Does anyone know how this is done?  I have access to all the usual tools associated with mobile phones - screen removing tools etc.
