Dear Community,
I have had this laptop for nearly a year and within the year I have been able to enjoy playing different games at great video quality. The last couple of months this has sadly not been the case where games would start and exit within minutes of the game running. Currently running with this system:
Operating System: Windows 11 23H2 22631.3007
Processor: 12th gen Inter(R) Core(TM) i7-12700H
Memory: 2x8gb Samsung 4800MHz
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU (Driver version 551.23)
All of this results in me unable to play the games that I wish such as and not just including:
- Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive edition
- Baldur's Gate 3
- Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order
- Mass Effect Legendary Edition
- Skull and Bones (Open Beta)
Some times games will work for 5 minutes and then crash with the response that there has been an error. These errors are all different but for each game they are all the same.
I have tried to reinstall the drivers multiple times. Also having reinstalled the games and tried running older graphic card drivers. Also turning down the graphics of the game to the lowest setting does not fix the issue and crashes without being able to play the game at all.
The problem is new because I have been able to play most of the games before except Skull and Bones, because it is so new. I am hoping that you can provide me with a fix because I do not imagine that a laptop of this price range should be outdated so fast. The previous version that I owned of the Omen lasted a good 4 years before it finally gave out. I am a working father and I just want to enjoy the games that I have bought for the short time that I am able to during my off hours.
Please let me know if there are any fixes that I can try. Thank you in advance.
