Hi @martka,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're experiencing a persistent glitch with the "Project" tab on your HP Spectre X360 - 13. This could be caused by various factors, including software bugs or conflicts. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.
- Restart your computer: Sometimes, a simple restart can fix temporary glitches. Try restarting your HP Spectre X360 and see if the problem persists.
- Update drivers: Make sure all your drivers, especially the graphics driver, are up-to-date. You can usually update drivers through the Device Manager or by visiting the HP website and downloading the latest drivers for your specific model.
- Check for Windows updates: Ensure that your operating system is fully updated. Windows updates often include bug fixes and patches that can address such issues.
- Run hardware diagnostics: HP laptops often come with built-in hardware diagnostic tools. Run a comprehensive diagnostic test to check if there are any hardware issues causing the glitch.
- Scan for malware: Sometimes, malware or viruses can cause unexpected behavior on your computer. Run a thorough scan using your preferred antivirus software to ensure your system is clean.
- Reset display settings: Try resetting your display settings to default. Sometimes, changes in display settings can lead to unexpected behavior. You can do this by right-clicking on the desktop, selecting "Display settings," and then clicking on "Reset display settings" or similar option.
- Check for third-party software conflicts: If the issue started occurring after installing new software, try uninstalling or disabling it temporarily to see if the problem goes away. Sometimes, third-party software can conflict with system functions.
- Perform a system restore: If the issue persists and you recently made changes to your system settings, consider performing a system restore to revert your system to a previous state when the issue was not present.
By following these steps, you should be able to diagnose and hopefully resolve the glitching "Project" tab on your HP Spectre X360 - 13.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
