OMEN 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-b0000 (2W6B5AV)

Hello,

I've been having an issue with my HP Omen 16.1 Gaming Laptop lately. It usually happens most often when connecting to a second monitor (either via hdmi or mini displayport), as well as disconnecting from a 2nd monitor. I'm not sure what is the best way to describe it, I'll upload a photo, but the laptop screen itself will become fully grey, with various colored pixels showing all over the screen (think of an old static TV). On top of this, the furthest right quarter of the screen is rapidly flashing between this grey screen and a black screen, with the same pixels consistently seen.

I'm using a second monitor now and the laptop screen is currently grey  as I type this support question out. An important thing to note is unplugging and re-plugging the display cord to the second monitor will fix the issue in the short-term, but it usually happens again the very next time I do so. Although it's on and off, the more-so long term consistency of it has started to worry me.

I've tried updating any and all drivers. I've run various diagnostics through HP's PC Diagnostic tool (not sure if that'd help in this case, but legitimately have no idea where else to start). Has anyone else had this issue or would anyone be able to point me in a direction as to what may be causing it? Any help is appreciated, at this point I am pretty clueless.

I can add specs if needed.

Thank you.
