HDMI Port on HP Pavilion stopped working completely!!

HP Recommended
HP Pavilion 14 ce0505sa
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a JVC HDTV and am able to link my macbook pro to the TV via the HDMI port with absolutely no issues whatsoever!

My HP Pavilion laptop doesn't even detect the HDTV with the same lead and same port connection.

I have tried everything that a google and youtube search provides, different wires, different ports, restarted, shut down and started again, un-installed drivers and restarted, nothing seems to work.

If anyone could help me out I would be extremely grateful thank you.

Mike

@RutherM

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues connecting the TV to the laptop using the HDMI connection.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
