Hi @Kev53,

Thanks for reaching out! 🙂 Good Day! This is a great location to get resolutions and interact with experts from the community. I understand that you have issues regarding the HDMI port of your computer after a Windows 10 upgrade. It will be a delight to assist you. 🙂

We greatly value your relationship with HP. You are a valued HP customer and we appreciate you greatly for doing business with HP. 🙂  I take it a privilege to share this platform with you. You’ve done an excellent job on diagnosing the issue correctly. 🙂 Hats off to you for a job well done. 🙂

First off, for better clarity, I would require more information regarding this to assist you better.

  • Please let me know the complete model# of the unit.
  • Have you tried with a different HDMI cable?
  • Is it a desktop or notebook?

For starters, please check this link out: http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Spectre-XT-15-Ultrabook/5296019/model/5333249/document/c01186...

Later if you find drivers for windows 10, please update the bios, chipset, graphics card and audio drivers from this link http://hp.com/drivers.

If it is not found, please update the latest video drivers from the manufacturer’s website. (For example, if it is NVidia, do so from their website.)

Hope this helps. Let me know how this goes. I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great. Please reach out for any issues and I'll be there to assist you.:)

To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue to get it resolved without hassles. 🙂

Take care now and have a splendid week ahead. 🙂
