Product: HP EliteBook 840 G5
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone,

 

I have multiple 840 G5s. Usually I reinstall them with Windows10 image from MS website, install drivers afterwards so I dont have to remove HP bloat manually.

 

Issue is that with the current installation 1903 HDMI port is no longer working. Tried different drivers, updated BIOS. No luck.

Did not go as far as downgrading the windows.

 

However HDMI is working when using the Windows preinstalled with the computer. But after a while HDMI again stops working.

 

Does anyone have any information on why this is happening (knowledge base, advisory information.).
