Pavilion 11-n010dx
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I've had this laptop for years and I love it. I just want to know if the HDMI port can be switched out or changed. I took it in at a well known department store to see if they could fix it and or varify that the HDMI was absolutly not working. I was told the HMDI was in fact not working and to contact those in the HP department for the part although "Your product’s warranty expired on June 6, 2015" keeps coming up. Please help. Can the part be fixed or replaced?

-Thanks in advance

I did some searching on your computer and have determined a few options.

1. Have the HDMI fixed by a professional that can troubleshoot and locate the problem.

2. Have the motherboard of the computer replaced.

sadly the HDMI is soldered onto the Motherboard and either needs the motherboar replaced or have a professional look into it more and locate the source of the problem.
