HDMI stops after Updates

HP Recommended
Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-dh1xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

WHY does my HDMI connection always stop working whenever my laptop updates for anything?!

And WHY are there SO MANY updates so often!?!?

Every time my laptop updates I always lose my HDMI connection to my TV. It's not the TV, it's not the HDMI, it's always the laptop after an update. Somehow the connection returns but I have no idea how it happens or when it's going to magically start working again.

Please does anyone else experience this? It's so super annoying 😠

@Brizzle33

I reviewed your post and I understand that the HDMI stop working after an update.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

Does it stop working after a Windows update?

What is the product number of your computer?

Meanwhile, I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check if it helps.

Yes, it stops working after a windows update.

My product number is 8QW23PA#ABG (I hope this is the right one).

I will also look at the link you sent.

Thank you very much, I hope this issue is fixed soon.
