Product: Pavilion Laptop 14-ce0505sa
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to connect my HP Pavilion Laptop to an external monitor, but when I use the HDMI output to the Display port connection I have in my Samsung 34"  Ultra-wide QHD Monitor, I get no response from the monitor at all.

When I try a HDMI to HDMI connection I get the monitor connection but a constant hazing around the edges of objects and red lines, this also cuts to black screen frequently.

I have downloaded the monitor driver from the website, but this does not help my troubled connection.

 

Please help if you can.

May I know the Operating system using?

 

May I know the model number of the notebook?
