Dear,

my laptop will not recognize my monitor when I connect it with a HDMI cable. Here's some pointers:

  • Connection works with a VGA cable
  • Already tried 2 different HDMI cables
  • Connecting other devices (XBOX) to my monitor with HDMI works
  • Connecting my laptop to both my TVs with HDMI works
  • I have installed the latest Intel UHD Graphics 620 driver (v27.20.100.9077 - rel. date 3/12/2020). This is a beta version but I have tried other drivers.
  • I have also updated the NVIDIA GEFORCE 930MX drivers. But I dont think those are the culprit because when I disable the Intel UHD Graphics device, I can no longer use the project settings, so I suppose Intel is handling the HDMI output here.

My laptop is a HP ProBook 450 G5 and my monitor is a BenQ BL2405HT

Kind regards.
