Product: HO omen 17-w005na
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP omen 17-w005na, model 2016.

From the time of purchase, the SPACE Key does not light in red, as all the other Keyboard Keys.

Is this normal? 

Is that so by construction?

Or there is a defect?

Many notebooks /laptops do NOT have light around the space bar. Your machine is one of them.
