Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My webcam is not working after upgrading to Windows 10, I am not using it very often but when recently tried to operate it, I found it is not functioning, the small led indication is normally lit but no video appears on skype or Camera app.

I already have Cyberlink 6 installed and tried to remove/install the driver and restart with no luck.

Please help?!!

I am downloading the assistance app now.

I want to know also as i have been trying different things including BIOS update, why my camera is listed under Camera in Device Manager rather than Imaging Device as been mentioned everywhereCamera not imaging.jpg

Hi Kumar,

I did what you told me and I found that all drivers are up to date.

Still my camera lid is on while Cyberlink youcam is on but I get no video from the camera.

@ahmedhappy312

This could be an issue with the OS system files. Create a new test user account and check if the camera works.

Refer to this document to know how to create a new user account.

If the issue persists in the new user account, we will have to perform a reset on the computer as mentioned here.

Keep me posted.

@ahmedhappy312,

Did you perform a reset on the computer?

Meanwhile, run a test on the webcam following the steps in the below article and let me know the result.

I performed 2 resets but still no luck to get the camera working.

I did perform components test on webcam and it passed

I tested the webcam again using Camera app on Windows 10 but still I don't receive any video
