HP 2000 Notebook (Energy STAR)

Notebook 2000-2d29WM
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My laptop probably suffered some damage within the couple years that I have had it but never had any running problems with my baby. I recently went to turn my computer on and the screen stayed black. The fan is still running and LED lights are still lit so I do not know what the problem is. I think it could be the monitor but I do not have an external monitor to test it on.

I know that I am running on the Windows 10 OS but I  am not sure if it is 32-bit or 64-bit

Try a hard reset.

Without an external monitor it is going to be hard to test if it is the screen panel. Do you see the hard drive light blinking like there is activity? Do you hear sounds? Can you get into the BIOS (F10) or diagnostics (F2) as you power up?
