HP DV5000 Powers On but No Display

Hello HP Community,
I have an HP DV5000 laptop that powers on, but the screen remains blank with no display output. The power indicator lights turn on, and I can hear the fan running, but there's no image on the screen. Pls tell me the solution for this problem.

If your HP DV5000 laptop powers on but has no display, here are some troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

1. Perform a Hard Reset

• Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery (if removable).
• Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds to discharge residual power.
• Reconnect the power adapter and turn on the laptop.

2. Connect an External Monitor

• Plug in an external monitor via VGA or HDMI.
• Press F4 (or the key with a monitor symbol) to switch displays.
• If the external monitor works, the issue may be with the laptop screen or graphics driver.

3. Recover the BIOS

• Turn off the laptop.
• Press and hold Windows + B keys, then press the power button for 2-3 seconds.
• Release the power button but keep holding Windows + B until the BIOS recovery screen appears.

4. Reseat the RAM

• Turn off the laptop and remove the RAM modules.
• Clean the RAM contacts with a soft cloth.
• Reinsert the RAM and power on the laptop.

5. Check for Display Backlight Issues

• Shine a flashlight on the screen—if you see a faint image, the backlight or inverter may be faulty.
• If this is the case, the LCD panel or inverter may need replacement.

6. Update Graphics Drivers

• If the external monitor works, update the graphics drivers from the HP Support website. Official HP® Drivers and Software Download | HP® Support

@Hawks_Eye : I tried connecting the HP laptop with the external monitor, still no diaplay. HP laptop isn't displaying anything even on an external monitor pls check the images below and you will get the better idea of my problem. 

The laptop is also making a clicking sound when turning on my HP DV5000 laptop. Pls check in the video and you will understand what I see when I start the laptop.
