HP ELITEBOOK 8560W GRAPHICS CARD

Product Name: HP Elitebook 8560W
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I need HP support. I want to know can i run my HP 8560w by just removing my faulty NVIDIA Quadro 1000m rather than replacing it with the new one. As per my knowledge this shoud run on built in gpu, shared graphic memory even in the absense of external graphics card.

Re: HP ELITEBOOK 8560W GRAPHICS CARD

Hi,

HP 8560W is a series of many machines with many configurations. The following link shows their specs:

The question is: does it have video chip on the motherboard or not ? Please check Device Manager. If not then removing the NVIDIA Quadro 1000M with 2GB dedicated DDR3 video memory (Microsoft DirectX 11 (Shader Model 5.0) and OpenGL 4.0 capable) won't help.

Regards.
