HP ENVY x360 - 15-aq293ms USB-C port can export video to an external monitor? I have tried USB-C to HDMI port but no cable is working to connect an external monitor. How to solve this issue or the USB-C of this model does not work with video output? Can I use a USB to VGA or a USB to DVI to connect an external monitor through a USB port? I do not want to use my HDMI port, anyway.

No, its USB-C port does not support Alt mode therefore USB-C to HDMI won;t work. You have to use HDMI port, using USB-A to HDMI adapter your HDMI won't work, you can only use one or the other, you can't use both at the same time. Therefore no point to keep HDMI port away.
Regards.

@Banhien, thank you very much for your useful information. Is there any way I can connect two monitors at the same time?
