I was very disappointed to have been quoted £350 to repair a hinge that it clearly not fit for purpose on an Envy.
Raising a complaint.
Was told I could not as no warranty.
Demanded a complaint is raised.
Was asked if a friend may have dropped the laptop or if the battery had overheated (???).
Was told that the complaint would be opened and rejected as no warranty.......
I stated Consumer Law would expect a hinge to last more than 4 years.....silence.
Please could someone help me in HP. I have never had a hinge fail on a laptop in my life.
