HP Envy Screen Detaching at Hinge

HP Recommended
HP Envy
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

The screen of my Envy x360 laptop with a Core i7 processor is detaching at the hinge. It looks very similar to the one in the following forum, where screws have come undone: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Video-Display-and-Touch/HP-Envy-X360-Screen-Detached-Near-Hin...

I purchased this laptop in 2018. Is there a safe way for me to fix this, or get this fixed? Also, there were no events that would have caused this-- The laptop was not dropped or hit with anything.
Thanks so much for your help.

Adam

Hi @a_schwartz3,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!
