HP Envy X360 15 u-493cl windows 10, auto-rotation option greyed out.

I got a refurbished HP X360 Envy 15 u-493cl a week ago. It is working perfectly fine and all the drivers and bios is up to date in windows 10. However, the auto-rotation lock option in the panel and the display options is greyed and cannot be unlocked.

 

Also the screen doesnt rotatte in tablet mode. And the option is never enabled, it remains greyed out and locked in whatver mode the laptop is.


I am really upset over this and want to know what is the solution to it.
