Microsoft Windows 11

Windows 11 Home 22H2 OS Build 22621.819. Suddenly, cannot connect to external monitors. Have tried 3 monitors and nothing. Windows does not recognize that it is connected.

 

Reinstalled dirvers:

Intel® Graphics Driver 31.0.101.3790/31.0.101.2114


After, Windows Update available including Intel Corporation - Display - 27.20.100.8478.
Current Windows build:22621.900

Reinstalled drivers:

Intel® Graphics Driver 31.0.101.3790/31.0.101.2114
Windows Update available including Intel Corporation - Display - 27.20.100.8478.

 

Didn't work after first reboot. But was able to connect subsequently. It was clear from boot that the new display was recognized, as the screen went on and off several times as the tv/monitor was starting.

 

Oddly solved with multiple reboots. Could it be the display adapter actually going bad? Both the HDMI and USBC to monitor were not working. Tested on two monitors that I used for a long time with this laptop and tried a tv also. Now they are all working in all configurations.
