HP Envy x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Envy x360 left hinge broken, screen splitting. This appears to be a common issue. I do not use this as a tablet so not switching between it and a laptop. This just happened yeaterday. Heard some cracking and checked it and see that it is coming apart in the left hand corner. It gets worse each time I open the laptop. There is now discoloration in the left hand corner of the screen. Is this something that HP will take care of. The laptop is under 2 years old and out of warrenty, of course. I need my laptop for work and cannot be without it for very long. I have seen several people say that they sent theirs in for repair from HP and it takes several weeks to get it back.  I have searched for support but nothing available until I can call tomorrow morning. Due to COVID it seems the are not as available as much to help or it will take longer to talk to someone or get a response. Please let me know if anyone has had any luck with this issue. Thank you

Hi @Busierbee,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!
